1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use govern your use of CredBounce and the UPSHIFT tools operated by Storm And Me LLC. By using the beta, you agree to these Terms. The beta is intended for adults age 18 or older in the United States who are using the tools for their own lawful personal purposes.
2. Educational, self-service software
CredBounce is self-service software. It helps users organize financial information, review possible credit-report issues, prepare documents from facts the user supplies, and track their own actions. It is not a bank, lender, consumer reporting agency, debt collector, credit bureau, or law firm.
No attorney-client relationship is created by using the site, reading a template, or using the Dispute Center. The software does not provide legal representation or individualized legal advice.
3. No guaranteed credit outcome
CredBounce does not guarantee deletion of any credit-report item, a particular credit score, a score increase, an approval for credit, or any investigation outcome. Accurate and current negative information generally cannot be removed merely because it is unfavorable.
4. Your responsibility for truthful information
You are responsible for reviewing every letter, statement, date, account reference, and supporting document before using it. You may not use the service to create false disputes, make false identity-theft reports, misrepresent ownership of an account, impersonate another person, submit forged documents, or otherwise deceive a credit reporting company, furnisher, creditor, government agency, or other person.
False identity-theft claims are prohibited. Identity-theft tools are only for genuine identity theft.
5. Local-device beta storage and submitted forms
In v0.6.0, dispute reports, evidence files, drafts, response text, goals, case metadata, Debt Autopilot balances, payoff-strategy settings, locally recorded payment history, and payoff-cycle tracking are designed to remain in your browser/device using localStorage and IndexedDB. Clearing browser data, resetting a device, using private browsing, storage eviction, or browser malfunction may delete this information. Keep your own original documents and backups.
The Contact form, UPSHIFT+ early-access form, and Debt Autopilot+ Level 2 activation-interest form are different: information you intentionally submit through those forms is sent to CredBounce’s private server-side lead inbox so the team can review support requests and beta interest. The Level 2 interest form is not a payment authorization and does not schedule or send a creditor payment. Do not submit sensitive financial documents, Social Security numbers, bank or bureau passwords, creditor logins, account numbers, identity documents, or payment credentials through these forms.
6. Debt Autopilot planning and future payment service
Debt Autopilot Level 1 provides educational payoff planning, locally recorded payment tracking, estimated interest/projection calculations, and Snowball/Avalanche allocation suggestions. Calculations can differ from creditor statements because actual daily interest, fees, statement timing, minimum-payment formulas, payoff quotes, and payment application rules vary. Recording or applying a planned month inside UPSHIFT updates the local tracker only and does not prove that a creditor received money.
UPSHIFT+ is an active premium membership priced at $9.99 per month and processed through Stripe-hosted checkout. The membership renews monthly until canceled. To request cancellation or billing help in the current beta, use the Contact page’s “UPSHIFT+ billing / cancel membership” topic and provide the same email address used at checkout. The membership charge is for UPSHIFT+ access and premium product features; it is not a creditor payment, bank debit mandate, debt-settlement payment, or authorization for Storm And Me LLC to move money to a creditor.
Debt Autopilot+ Level 2 creditor-payment execution remains disabled until Storm And Me LLC has an approved specialized payment provider, required user authorization controls, provider identity/funding setup, verified creditor destinations, reconciliation/failure handling, and appropriate launch/compliance review. Premium membership billing and creditor-payment authorization are separate actions.
7. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at abusive volume, use it to violate law or the rights of others, or exploit it to create misleading financial or identity documents.
8. Intellectual property
The CredBounce and UPSHIFT names, original interface, original text/templates, software, graphics, and related materials are owned by Storm And Me LLC or its licensors, subject to applicable law. You may use generated drafts for your own lawful personal affairs. You may not resell or hold out the product as your own service without written permission.
9. Third-party resources and payment processing
The site links to official and third-party websites such as AnnualCreditReport.com, ConsumerFinance.gov, and IdentityTheft.gov. Those sites are controlled by their respective operators and have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and content.
UPSHIFT+ membership checkout is hosted and processed by Stripe. Payment-card and other payment-method details entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices rather than being entered into CredBounce’s local financial workspace.
10. Beta availability and changes
The beta may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. Features can behave differently across browsers. Storm And Me LLC may revise these Terms as the product evolves; the effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
11. Warranty and liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Storm And Me LLC is not responsible for decisions made by credit reporting companies, furnishers, lenders, creditors, or government agencies, or for data loss caused by clearing or losing local browser/device storage. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to Storm And Me LLC through the Contact page. The beta Contact form is the current support channel while custom-domain email is being finalized.
