1. Current beta status
CredBounce is not currently offering a managed credit-repair service that sends or submits disputes on a consumer's behalf. The v0.6.0 beta is self-service software. Users prepare, review, and decide whether to send their own correspondence.
2. No advance managed credit-repair fee
No advance fee is charged for a managed credit-repair service in this beta because no managed credit-repair package is being offered. UPSHIFT+ is a separate $9.99/month software membership processed through Stripe; that membership is not a promise to remove credit-report items, increase a credit score, or submit disputes on a consumer’s behalf.
3. Future managed services remain disabled
Any future managed credit-repair or “we handle it for you” product remains disabled until Storm And Me LLC completes federal and state compliance review and qualified legal review. Federal credit-repair law can require disclosures, written contracts, cancellation rights, and restrictions on advance payment, among other requirements. State laws can impose additional obligations.
4. What we will not claim
- We do not claim that accurate current negative information can be erased simply because it is unfavorable.
- We do not guarantee removals or credit-score increases.
- We do not encourage blanket disputes of accurate information.
- We do not encourage false identity-theft claims.
5. You can dispute errors yourself
Federal consumer-protection agencies explain that consumers can dispute inaccurate credit-report information themselves at no cost. CredBounce’s purpose in this beta is to make that self-service organization easier and clearer.
